A Permaculture and Resilience project
Collectively, let's start preparing our autonomy and resilience against climate change.
We always try to produce or obtain in an ecological way the resources necessary for life on the farm, according to Permaculture principles.
We reflect on each use of water, waste that we generate and the long-term impacts of our facilities.
We always try to reduce our footprint on ecosystems.
We have solar panels to produce 100% of our electrical energy.
We collect rainwater in season to reduce the use of fresh groundwater as much as possible.
Every year we plant more fruit trees and plants, native and medicinal species, and garden vegetables. to keep our forest alive and for the consumption of our visitors.
Preservation of the Tropical Dry Forest that welcomes us allows us spot numerous wild animals (hummingbirds, anteaters, raccoons, foxes, woodpeckers...).

Mango Feliz is also dedicated to developing responsible tourism through camping facilities.
Have 4 composting toilets and “conscious” freshwater showers (20 L).
Our constructions are made with natural and local materials, according to the ancestral techniques of the Colombian Caribbean.: Palm roofs, wood, canes, cans and other materials.
We have 2 houses in this life: Our Earth and Our physical Body.
Mango Feliz proposes you to reconnect with Nature and with yourself to replenish your batteries with vital energies.
A restaurant to care for body, soul and environment
Our restaurant offers homemade meals like “Menus Del Día”, made with natural and fresh ingredients (Reservation Required). Our cooks mix traditional coastal and creation-fusion recipes, including vegetarian and vegan.
Each meal is accompanied by natural juice and we offer a FREE “Water Refill” service, to limit the consumption of single-use plastic and soda bottles.
To support our peasant neighbors and ensure fresh and high nutritional quality meals. We buy as much of the restaurant's ingredients as possible from local suppliers.
In Rincón we find fish and seafood, coastal cheese, whey and many fruits and vegetables!

Furthermore, one of our priorities is to create local jobs in all services provided. Consequently, We don't get any volunteers..

We recommend scheduling one of the ecological walks with native guides. It will allow you to discover the animals of the Rinconero forest: Sloth Bear, Toucan, Howler Monkey, Woodpeckers, Eagles and many more species! The Biodiversity of Rincón is surprising and deserves to be known and protected.
